What

• A course on doing conflict virtuously.

Who

• The course is for anyone wants to do conflict lovingly.
• The leaders and facilitators are followers of Christ, energetically seeking to anchor the death and resurrection of Jesus as the center of our worldview. We find great pleasure in relating the atonement to all of life’s important questions. 
• We unashamedly affirm our need for what God speaks to us in the Bible, although we do not hesitate to benefit from the social sciences.

When

• Wednesday evenings, beginning September 12th and ending November 7th (8 sessions, skipping Oct. 31st).
• Class begins at 7:00 PM and “officially” ends at 8:45 PM. 
• You are free to arrive any time after 6:30 PM. You are free to hang out afterward.

Cost

• $135 per person made payable to GreenTwig. You may pay by check, cash, PayPal or credit card. If you use credit card the service fee will be added to your total. (PayPal = $139.21; Square = $139.34)

What the meetings are like

• At 7:00 PM we gather for a large group discussion of the written material. Around 7:45 we usually break into small discussion groups. And at 8:30 we regroup for a few minutes of unpacking the highlights.
• In the past, participants have enjoyed feeling safe in an environment where sensitive, vulnerable subjects are discussed. So we invite you to love others by keeping things confidential.
• One of the nights we will spend most of the time enjoying a meal together. 
• Susie and Glen will provide you with the written material. Usually we read 5-6 pages per week. You will have questions to think about and discuss before you come to each class. Those questions do not have an academic feel at all. But they invite you to probe yourself at significant depth. Your preparation will determine how much you benefit from the discussions. 
• Meetings are not lectures. We enjoy tons of open, respectful conversations about issues couples seldom get to discuss.
