When peace is dislodged by fear, anger, resentment, and other negative emotions, we are in conflict! Unfortunately, most people either flee (believing they do not “do” conflict, or attack viciously (believing they must win the conflict.)

GreenTwig coaches will listen deeply to you. They will ask you questions you’ve never thought of. They will walk with you into the hidden corners of your heart that you have been unable or unwilling to walk into. Down in the dark depths the light of grace and love transforms that which seemed hopeless and impossible.

With the help of the coaches, a person sees more clearly the issues that need to be overcome by the death and resurrection of Jesus, and begins to experience freedom from shame, guilt, fear, and other powerful negative emotions.

Conflict coaching prepares people to do conflict lovingly. Throughout the four sessions, we discuss four essential points of conflict resolution: Agape, Self-Evaluation,  Confession, and Forgiving.

Individual coaching is a great choice for people in interpersonal conflict when the other party is not willing to seek help. It is also designed to help people who are in conflict with themselves and do not know how to move toward peace within themselves.

Issues that come up in coaching often have very deep roots; roots that were established in childhood or adolescence. Telling one’s story in one setting helps make sense of one’s experiences.

Pre-Marital coaching is for wise couples seeking guidance as they prepare to join their lives in marriage.

As they share practical problems they are facing, we respond with appropriate biblical passages and questions to help them uncover the deeper issues that need to be identified for the health of the marriage.

The conversations usually revolve around the following subjects: love, listening deeply, conflict, finances, in-laws, faith, unhealthy dependence, and soul and sexual intimacy.  

Marriage coaching is for couples that are stuck, but are not hovering on the cliff of divorce.

Couples often come to us in a rut relationally and are unable to resolve the problem on their own or when conflict has reached crisis stage and divorce seems like an option.

There is great hope for couples that acknowledge their need for help. We custom fit marriage coaching according to the couples’ needs, and do not limit this service to crisis situations.

Mediation is necessary when couples or groups are gridlocked in intense conflict. It’s intense (8-10 hours per day for 4-5 days).

Many clients tell us that during mediation they go deeper into their hearts than they’ve ever gone before. They feel “heard” and understood. They learn to listen better. In the scary depths they receive love, peace, grace, forgiveness, acceptance, and truth.

In those depths they often give love, grace, acceptance and truth as they haven’t given in a long time.
